Outcomes (the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, 1918)
- The Soviets had taken over the government.
- Mensheviks against Lenin´s Bolsheviks
- Decree on Land
- Decree on Peace
One of the first things Lenin did after the Bolsheviks had taken over the government was to sign the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk which marked Russia´s exit out of WWI. However, there was a big conflict in Russia . The Mensheviks and the Centre-Right were against the Bolsheviks because the Mensheviks thought the Bolsheviks got the power illegally. The Decree on Land could be seen as the first step in the restributation of private land by the Soviets.
